Key
Features

01

Advanced cell detection technology

Irregular and aggregated cells can be clearly identified with FACSCOPE’s advanced cell detection algorithm

02

Autofocusing function

Automatic focusing function scans multiple focal points and automatically selects the best one

03

Precise counting results

Larger counting volume provides more precise and reliable counting results

04

User-friendly function

Selectable and customizable presets, gating adjustments, and counting modes are provided

05

Disposable counting slides

Reduces inconvenience by eliminating the need for washing slides

Large counting volume

FACSCOPE B analyzes larger counting volume than hemocytometer and any other cell counters, therefore acquires more reliable and meaningful results.

Autofocusing

  • The algorithm applied to FACSCOPE B finds the multiple focal planes and automatically selects the best and clearest focal plane.
  • The automatic focusing of FACSCOPE B eliminates variables that can cause human errors and enables users to obtain accurate results.

Advanced detection algorithm

The advanced recognition algorithm of FACSCOPE B provides users with the opportunity to observe various cells accurately. Irregular cells and aggregated cells can be clearly identified, as well as live and dead cells for various cell-based studies.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] Can I use slides made by other companies for FACSCOPE B?

We developed our own disposable hemocytometer called FACSCOPE Slide and only FACSCOPE Slide is suitable for FACSCOPE B.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] Can I use Trypan blue (dyeing solution) from various brands?

Yes, you can.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] How does FACSCOPE B work?

FACSCOPE B is the 4X Bright-field microscope-based instrument.

After the sample is inserted into the device, autofocus is adjusted to detect the cell in the most suitable position. Next, the sample is moved to the designated location through the fully motorized stage, and the images are collected as if the camera is taking a picture. Finally, the collected images are analyzed, and the counting result is generated.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] Is FACSCOPE B compatible with tablet PC or regular PC?

FACSCOPE B is a stand-alone device equipped with LCD touchscreen. The user can check the cell counting results and images on an LCD monitor in real-time without connecting to PC.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] Is FACSCOPE slide reusable?

FACSCOPE Slide is a disposable hemocytometer for FACSCOPE automatic cell counter. To increase accuracy, it is highly recommended not to reuse after opening it.

Q [FACSCOPE® B] Is there any special reason the sample volume is 20µl?

It is to increase accuracy by reducing pipetting errors and variations.

* Trypan blue (10µl): Cell sample (10µl) = 1: 1 mixing ratio

Q [FACSCOPE® B] What is the cell concentration range?

1 x 104 ~ 1 x 107 cells/mL

Q [FACSCOPE® B] What is the detectable range of cell size?

5 ~ 60µm
