Curiosis' automated colony picking system CPX® was selected as a week-34 (2026) IR52 Jang Yeongsil Award winner, presented by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT.

Curiosis previously won the same award in 2024 for Celloger®. 

CPX® fully automates microbial and cell colony selection — a core step in drug development, gene editing, and mRNA vaccine manufacturing — using 96 electronically driven pins for precision picking. 

It sorts over 4,000 micro-colonies per hour at a success rate above 99%, supporting sterile GMP manufacturing environments. 

CPX® is now supplied globally through an ODM agreement with Revvity and adopted by Korea's K-Bio Foundry institutions, with the lineup expanding to CPX®-α and CPX®-S.
